Kneseth Israel Hebrew School Begins it's Second YearSunday, September 10, 2006 Congregation Kneseth Israel's Hebrew started it's second year, with an almost 100% increase in enrollment. Last year, the school started with 18 students. For the 2006-2007 school year, a total of 35 students are enrolled, with an extra class and teacher being added. Last year was great, and this new year will be even better!
Many children have returned, while new students and families are welcomed.
Rabbi Weisblum welcomes two new children to the school. Another new family on the right.
At right is the youngest class (ages 5 and 6). At right, Rabbi Weisblum meets with the parents while the children are in their classrooms.
Morah Bracha (Bracha Weisblum), a returning teacher is a big hit with the children.
The 10-11 year old children meet their new teacher and hold up their new siddurs.
The oldest class, comprised of pre-Bar/Bat Mitzvah aged children (and one child who was recently Bat Mitzvahed) |
